What’s New in Disney Dining for 2022
Disney World Dining is returning to normal operations. At the time I’m writing this, there are still a handful of restaurants that remain closed, many restaurants have yet to offer breakfast, and the dining plan still has not returned. Besides that, most restaurants at Walt Disney World are operational and a few new restaurants have been added to the mix. Some of these restaurants are brand new and others are replacing restaurants that previously existed. You may want to give one a try on your next Disney World vacation.
Tangerine Cafe: Flavours of the Medina. Epcot.

Found in the Moroccan pavilion, Tangerine Cafe is a quick-service restaurant. This restaurant is a modified version of its predecessor. It’s basically a structurally sound festival booth. Every season Epcot has a different festival, these festivals include special food booths offering different items to reflect the country and the festival. This is what Tangerine Cafe will now offer, festival food but in a quick-service restaurant style. Which means you’ll find delightful food for less but more snack style than full meal.
Steakhouse 71. Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Steakhouse 71 is the newest restaurant to be found in the iconic Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This restaurant, previously The Wave, has had a massive overhaul. New interior design and new menu. Steakhouse 71 is found on the ground floor of the Contemporary Resort serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dinner menu is steak heavy, as you’d expect, but there are also a couple of other options for those who steer clear of red meat. Chicken, vegetarian and fish dishes are listed. The lunch menu looks amazing with several artisan sandwich choices. With the Contemporary Resort being a quick walk from the Magic Kingdom, this restaurant is easily accessible for anyone staying at Walt Disney World.
Space 220 Restaurant. Epcot.

Space 220 is a table service restaurant found in the World Discovery Area of Epcot. Space 220 is open for lunch and dinner with a prix-fixed menu. This means you’ll pay a flat fee to enjoy your choice of appetizer and entree. At dinner guests get to enjoy dessert as well. The restaurant is said to transport guests from Earth to a Space Station. While on this Space Station guests will enjoy beautiful views of Earth.
La Creperie de Paris. Epcot.

The newest table service restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Epcot is La Creperie de Paris. Found in the new addition to Epcot’s France pavilion, La Creperie de Paris is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu for each meal does not appear to change, there are sweet and savoury crepe options. Guests can choose the prix fixed menu which gives them a chance to enjoy the soup of the day or the house salad, a drink and a dessert crepe. This restaurant is a great change from the heavy, large portions you find in most other restaurants. Giving guests a nice break from what’s found at many other restaurants.
Crepe A Emporter de La Creperie de Paris. Epcot.
Crepe A Emporter de La Creperie de Paris is a quick-service window restaurant, directly beside La Creperie de Paris. Found in the new area of the France Pavilion,
There are always new restaurants being added to Walt Disney World. Whether it’s in new areas of the parks, new resorts or Disney Springs. We love to try the new restaurants when they get added to the roster. The interior is always so new and imaginative. The meals are creative and exciting. We’ve yet to have a poor experience at one of the new restaurants, which makes me feel like Disney always puts their best cast members in these new ventures.
