What to do with your Disney Pins
Every trip to Walt Disney World’s Disney resorts is going to involve receiving some kind of pin. Whether it’s a 1st visit pin for one of the members of your party, or a birthday pin for the birthday girl, or a pin for celebrating any occasion. You can see guests all over the resorts and parks wearing their pins proudly on their shirts, jackets, hats or placed on backpacks and purses.
But what do you do with these pins when you arrive home from the most magical place on earth. Do you hang on to them and place them on a family bulletin board? Do you tuck them away in a special memento box? Or maybe you simply throw them out. After our last vacation my husband had finally had enough and decided to do something with these many pins we’ve collected over the last 9 years.
To keep you up to date, we’ve received pins for our honeymoon, for being DVC members, for littles 1st visits, for birthday celebrations, many are momentous occasions that these pins help mark. Up until now our pins were piled in a little pile on my desk collecting dust, but now they are on display for all to see. Jeff simply took a ribbon from an old race medal and began pinning all of our pins in a somewhat random order. Making the colours and the repeats spread out along the ribbon. After they were all pined on he hung them up on the wall next to my desk, which is just above our runDisney medals.
The pins are so bright and colourful, it adds a lot to that little corner of our house. And of course suits very well as that’s where I do write many of my posts.
So get those pins out and make a little display for them. It’s easy, inexpensive and it’s so small you can find a place for it anywhere in your humble abode. And it’s a constant reminder of the many amazing memories you have had at Walt Disney World. Happy Planning, Friends.
