Trip Preparation: Introducing Characters
You and your family are going to Walt Disney World. Awesome! There are so many things to plan and book so you can make the most of your time on property. But there are also things you can do at home so your kids can have an unforgettable time. Familiarize them with the characters they will be interacting with at the park. Planning a character meal? Check to see who will be there and make sure your kids know who they are. On a daily basis you can check My Disney Experience to see which characters are doing meet and greets at any given park. Expose your kids to these lovable characters and their stories. It will increase the excitement for you and them. Now, that may seem like a lot of movies to watch before your upcoming vacation. Books are a great resource. Head to your local library. You can find Little Golden Books additions to many of the classics or Disney’s Wonderful World of Reading. This being said, when you get to the parks don’t spend time waiting to meet characters your kids don’t know. Maybe you’re excited to meet these characters again but there is so much to see and do in a day make sure you are making the most of it.
Happy Planning.
