Trip Preparation: Current Disney Deals
Taking a trip to Walt Disney World has a clear cost. But if you know where to look, it doesn’t have to be as expensive as you may be expecting. There are always deals to be had, take a look at this previous post and use the tips to find the best deal for your trip. If you’re starting to think about taking a trip in the month of December or one of the first few months of the new year than there is a deal to be had. Whether you’re looking for a discounted room or a great dining, ticket and room package there is something being offered that will cut down on your vacation costs.
Special Canadian Ticket Offer
If you’re a Canadian resident and you’re thinking of heading to Disney sometime between now and September 2019, buy your theme park tickets now. Buy your tickets between now and March 15th, 2019 and get a reduced price. A normal four day park pass will cost you $95 US per day, $1480 for a family of four. With this special offer Canadian residents get their four day park pass for $79 US per day, $1238 for a family of four. This is saving you $242, which could be a night or two nights stay at your resort, depending on where you’re staying of course. Four days is the minimum so of course you can buy an 8 day pass and receive the discount as well. We’ve used this deal before and found it to be the best deal out there. At the time of our vacation, DVC members were getting a seven day park pass for the cost of four and it was still cheaper to go with this deal. The one thing to be aware of is you must check in at the main entrance of the park on your first park day. You can’t just scan your MagicBand and gain entry. They need to check your ID, at which point you’ll be admitted for the remainder of your trip. If you buy them now and you don’t head down to Florida for many months, you’ll see them on your MyDisneyExperience account.

Play, Stay, Dine & Save
In 2019, Disney World is not saving the free dining plan for the fall, it’s available for the beginning of the year. With this package, you’ll save on your tickets and dining plan when you stay for at 3 nights and up to 14 nights at many of their on-site resorts. For this package you’ll have to purchase a Magic Your Way Ticket Package and the dining plan included will be a Quick-Service for guests staying at Value or Moderate Resort or a Disney Dining Plan for those staying at a Deluxe resort or Deluxe Villas. For the savings to apply you must be staying between January 1st and March 9th.
Here are a couple of examples of the deal:
6 nights at Port Orleans Riverside: $4,000. This includes your quick-service dining plan, and a 6 day park pass. Without the deal the cost is $4,212.
6 nights at All-Star Sports: $3,170. This includes your quick-service dining plan and a 6 day park pass. Without the deal the cost is $3,400.
6 nights at Boardwalk Inn: $5,500. This includes your Disney Dining Plan and a 6 day park pass. Without the deal the cost is $6,100.
