Restaurant Review: Crystal Palace
This buffet style Magic Kingdom restaurant features four of the loveable Winnie-The-Pooh characters: Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and Winnie-The-Pooh. I recommend the supper meal over the breakfast meal for this restaurant. The breakfast offers the same breakfast food that is found at every buffet style restaurant on Walt Disney World property. The supper selection on the other hand is fabulous. It’s turned into our favourite supper option at the Magic Kingdom. There’s a great dessert buffet, with self serve ice cream. There’s chicken and carved meats, a nice selection of salads and a variety of kid’s favourites. This character meal does take a while. If your reservation is not lined up at the perfect time you can be waiting a long time to have all the characters to your table. Our last visit we spent over an hour at the restaurant without seeing Winnie-The-Pooh. We were heading to 1900 Park Fare the following morning for brunch so we walked away without disappointment. If we weren’t planning that breakfast I would have felt my time wasted by waiting another 15 minutes to meet the main character. This is the only place to meet Piglet on the Walt Disney World property, outside of the Halloween and Christmas party, so it is a must for those whose littles love Piglet.
It’s fairly easy to get a reservation for this restaurant, making it a great option for last minute trips.

Personal Touch:
This is a great place for larger groups. With the buffet there is plenty for everyone to choose from. They also have very large round tables in the middle of the dining room giving ample amount of room for everyone. Our last visit we had six adults and two children, with a high chair each, and we all sat and ate comfortably.
