Restaurant Review: Chef Mickey’s
Chef Mickey’s is a buffet style restaurant located on the fourth floor of the Contemporary Resort. It serves Breakfast, Lunch and Supper. All of these are character meals featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy. The food is average, but with a buffet you are offered a wide variety. There is something for everyone; if your little one doesn’t like something, you go up and get something different. This is an extremely popular restaurant so you need to book your reservations 180 days prior to your planned stay. If you are able to make a reservation for this restaurant do not let go of it. Once you try to change it that seating is gone and you won’t be able to get another one. If you’re having a hard time getting a reservation try an odd time. Like a late breakfast, say 10 or 10:30. Or a very late lunch, say 2:30. Or start your day there. I’ve always found the 7:00am reservation easiest to get. If you have your heart set on going to this restaurant but can’t get a reservation check out Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort.
I would strongly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting with kids 12 and under. The atmosphere is fun and family oriented.
