Independence Day at Walt Disney World
Although nothing has been officially reported for events and special features at the theme parks of Walt Disney World we can be sure there will be something to commemorate the nations birthday. Every year the Magic Kingdom hosts a special fireworks show display on both July 3rd and July 4th. If you want to avoid the crazy crowds of the these two days at the Magic Kingdom, check out these locations you can watch the fireworks without requiring entry to the park by clicking this link. Last year, there was also two dance parties in Frontierland and Tomorrowland to celebrate the occasion.
At Epcot, a special performance took place at the American pavilion. Three performances feature songs by Voices of Liberty at the American Garden Theatre. This will be extremely popular so be sure to grab seats early. Mickey and the gang will also be decked in their patriotic best in the Americans pavilion.
The last number of occasions have featured special cupcakes around the Walt Disney World resort. I expect Independence Day will be no different. The most likely locations will be: Boardwalk Bakery at the Boardwalk, Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary Resort, Gaspirilla Island Grill at Grand Floridian Resort, and check your resort’s quick-service restaurant. At the theme parks likely they’ll be at the Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom, Sunshine Terrace at Epcot, The Trolley Car Cafe at Hollywood Studios and Creature Comforts at Animal Kingdom.
