Height Requirements at Disney World’s Epcot
When heading to any of the four Walt Disney World parks, it’s important to know the different height requirements for the attractions you plan on going on with younger children. Not all attractions are open to all guests. These requirements are for the safety of the guest. These requirements don’t take into account age appropriate content though. So even if your child is able to ride an attraction, they may still find it too scary.

Today we’re exploring the different height categories found at Disney World’s Epcot and which attractions fall into each group. For the particular height of your guest simply click the link below and you’ll jump right to that section.
32 inches and smaller
This category is for all guests. Any guest of any height can participate in these attractions. Some of the attractions listed are not rides but experiences that you can do together as a family. For a full detailed description of each of the attraction and their suitability click here.

40 inches and Taller
This is really the first height category at Epcot. Until your kids are 40 inches, which is around the age of 4, they’re not going to be old enough to ride the more thrilling rides at Epcot. These 3 rides aren’t very scary. They do all have a thrilling element to them, with face speed, soaring high into the sky and the feeling of going into outer space. For more specifics on each attractions click here.
Mission: SPACE Green Mission

Soarin’ Around the World
Test Track
44 inches and Taller
The last height requirement at Disney World’s Epcot is 44 inches. This height requirement is for the more intense version of Mission: SPACE. This version is not scary or unnerving but has been known to cause people throw up and to experience major dizziness. For more details on the attraction click here.
Mission: SPACE. Orange Mission
The majority of the attractions fall into the no height requirement which, to many guests surprise, makes Epcot one of the best parks for younger visitors. Especially if you take time to take in all the special entertainment offered at each of the Epcot World Showcase pavilions. Our kids loved exploring the Kidcot Fun Stops at each of the countries, for more details on that click here.
