Food Goals Walt Disney World Trip 2017
Friends, our Disney trip is less than a week away. Even with the hurricane approaching Orlando I’m going to focus forward and keep positive. I am so very excited to get back to Hollywood Studios, run some new trails at Wilderness Lodge and spend some much needed family time with my hubby and sweet kids. I am also pumped for the food. Is it just me or does it seems as though food at Walt Disney World has been augmented in the last few years. I don’t know if it’s the beauty of instagram and pinterest but there is now so much more awareness of all the amazing food that can be found at Disney Parks. I’ve got to admit I am new to the party. I have always been scouting out different places to dine but I’ve missed these hidden gems that offer delicious snack items. It wasn’t until our last trip that I was made aware of everything I’ve been missing. My sister was pregnant on our last trip and therefore had to miss out on a few of the rides. So instead of focusing on what she couldn’t enjoy she decided to check a few things off of a must-try snack list. Enter in Dole Whip, Funnel Cakes and Doughnut Sundae.
Oh snack list where were you on my pregnant trip to Walt Disney World. I’ve now resolved from this point forward to have a list of food goals, items that I want to enjoy, for each Disney vacation. My list is inspired by images found on instagram and by perusing these smaller quick-service locations’ menus. I’ve also put a few items on here I’ve always meant to try but never got around to it. Here’s the list I’ve come up with for this trip:
Apple Crisp a la Mode. Hollywood Scoops. Hollywood Studios
Mickey Mouse S’Mores. The Ganachery. The Landing Disney Springs.
Jack Skellington Push Pop. Sleepy Hollow. Magic Kingdom.
Vanilla Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich. Sleepy Hollow. Magic Kingdom.
Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse. Satu’li Canteen. Animal Kingdom.
Candy Apple. Disney’s Candy Cauldron. West Side Disney Springs.
With 17 snack credits with our dining plan I feel confident I can enjoy these treats during our stay at Walt Disney World. Of course I’ll also have to enjoy my favourite Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar. No trip is complete without one. Follow along on Instagram over the next week to see what gets enjoy and whether it’s worth adding it to your list. Happy Planning.
