Easy Disney Halloween Pumpkin Carvings
It’s that time of year again, time to start perusing Pinterest for ideas on what to carve on the Halloween pumpkins. How lucky are we to have such a resource for this Halloween tradition. Over the last number of years we, I say we but it’s really my husband, have carved a Disney Halloween pumpkin for each child. We let them choose the character they would like to have carved on their pumpkin. We began this tradition in 2016, unfortunately I didn’t document it but I do have a picture of the completed pumpkin in the background of a Halloween picture.

That’s now 5 years of Disney pumpkin carvings. Here’s a look at the pumpkins we’ve created over the last five years.
2017. Lightning McQueen and Elsa

2018. Storm Trooper and Tinker Bell.

2019. Darth Vader, Little Mermaid and the Rebel Alliance Symbol.

2020. Storm Trooper and Elsa with a hidden Olaf

I’m curious to see what each child chooses this year. I would expect our youngest guy will choose Lightning McQueen, as he’s a Cars fanatic right now. Our middle guy is still a big Star Wars fan, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he asks for a Star Wars character of some kind. Our daughter is currently loving Raya and the Lost Dragon, so we may have to steer her in another directions as that seems quite tricky.
