Copper Creek Springs Pool
When searching for a Disney resort for your Disney vacation many things are probably on your search. Location, restaurants and pools are likely among them. Well at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, they may not be on the top 5 for the most pools on property, but they have a spectacular pool in their main pool: Copper Creek Springs Pool.
Copper Creek Springs Pool is found in the centre of the Wilderness Lodge Resort. Found at the bottom of the cascading falls this pool has a 67-foot waterslide. The pool has a couple ladder entrances and is manned by lifeguards. My favourite part of this pool is the stream that pours into the pool. This is found on the side of the pool that’s further away from the waterslide. Surrounding this pool are lounger chairs for sunbathers and for those pool side snacks. There are a couple of entrances to this pool, all require magic bands to open because this pool is only available to those staying at the Wilderness Lodge and Boulder Ridge at Wilderness Lodge.
Within the Copper Creek Springs Pool area is their Water Play Area. Perfect for littles, this water play area has two slides and lots of pool chairs surrounding it. Now you can’t slide down these slides with your little, it’s only made for them. But you can certainly capture the moment with lots of pictures. This area is gated off, keeping little ones from running off quickly, as they so often.
The whirlpool at the Copper Creek Springs Pool is one of the coolest on property. The view from this whirlpool is incredible. On one side of the pool you have the Fire Rock Geyser and on the other side you have the view of the Masterful looking main lodge and Copper Creek Falls. It’s truly breathtaking. If you’re one for privacy then this is not the whirlpool for you. There’s a pathway that goes directly by the whirlpool, this pathway is used by many guests making their way to the resorts boat launch, or heading to Geyser’s Point Bar & Grill.
Copper Creek Springs Pool has pool activities throughout the afternoon, making an afternoon by the pool filled with fun and excitement. Win one of the games and you’ll even receive a prize.
Copper Creek Springs Pool has got to be in my top 5 Disney resort pools. I love the feeling of being in the wilderness without actually being in the wilderness. It’s kind of like glamping. It makes having a non-park essential when you’re staying at this Deluxe Magic Kingdom resort.
