Where to Find Disney Junior Characters at Disney World
Any preschooler or kid born around 2010 will want to meet some characters from Disney Junior on their trip to Walt Disney World. It’s likely one of the five Disney Junior characters found at the parks have been a part of your kids life in one way or another. Maybe through the Television shows, maybe through books or music. Regardless, meeting these characters may be even more important to them then meeting Mickey or Minnie. Take a look at who you can meet and where to ensure you get those signatures in your littles autograph book.
Elena of Avalor
Princess Fairytale Hall, Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom
The newest Disney Junior character to be found at Walt Disney World is Elena of Avalor. She’s found on both Disney Junior and Disney Channel, making her meet and greet more popular than the other characters on this list. She shares a meet and greet with Cinderella giving you the opportunity to get two princesses off your list at once. They do offer FastPass at this meet and greet. We’ve taken advantage of this because this line is boring. There is nothing to do for the kids, making a 50 minute wait exhausting for everyone. This character experience is open from park open to close giving you plenty of time to meet Elena. You can expect her to talk to you in Spanish if you wish. When we met her on our daughter’s 5th birthday she was very engaging with every guest. With MacKenzie she invited her to Avalor to celebrate her next birthday and talked of how they celebrate in her kingdom. Our kids are not big Elena fans but I could tell they were very taken with her.
Sofia the First
Hollywood & Vine, Hollywood Studios

This buffet style restaurant features four Disney Junior characters for breakfast, Sofia being one of them. She will come to your table and sign your autograph book as well as take pictures. There are many advantages to character dining, getting more than one character done while eating a meal you’d need to eat anyways. This saves you time and you get a delicious meal out of it.
Doc McStuffins
Your toys’ favourite doctor is found at three locations across Walt Disney World. If you have room in your book bag or stroller, bring one of your kids stuffed animals and Doc will give it a check up, along with signing your autograph book and pose for a picture.
Rafiki’s Planet Watch, Animal Kingdom
Take a 7 minute train ride to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Strollers are not permitted in this area of the park so be ready to carry your kid and for a bit of a walk. Doc is found in the Conservation Station. She appears intermittently throughout the day, so don’t get all the way here just to miss her. You can find her here from 10:15am until 1:15am and 1:55pm to 4:45pm. Rafiki’s Planet Watch closes at 5pm. So be sure to plan to be here by 4pm to get a meet and greet in, accounting for the walk and train ride. This character experience is inside. A great relief from the mid day heat.
Animation Courtyard, Hollywood Studios
Doc McStuffins is found throughout the day in front of Disney Junior Dance Party. You can create a great hour of your day by meeting Doc McStuffins and then taking in the stage show. This meet and greet takes place from 9:30am-6:30pm. If you don’t want to stand in the line, wait until dinner hour when everybody is off eating come grab a picture with Doc.

Start off your day with a plateful of Mickey waffles and a meet and greet with Doc McStuffins. This character breakfast features Doc McStuffins and a few other Disney Junior characters. Doc will come to your table to get a picture with your family and sign your autograph book. You can expect lots of hugs from this loveable character. She only appears during the breakfast meal so be sure to book a reservation before 10:20am.
Vampirina

Now at Hollywood Studios’ only buffet restaurant you can meet one of the newest Disney Junior characters: Vampirina. During breakfast at Hollywood Studios, Vampirina is one of four characters that will be their way around this restaurant to get pictures taken with fans and sign their autograph book. Be sure to book at reservation in advanced.
Animation Courtyard, Hollywood Studios
Meet the friendliest vampire at Hollywood Studios’ Animation Courtyard. Just outside the Disney Junior Dance Party you can meet Vampirina from 9:30am until 6:30pm.
Fancy Nancy

The latest addition to the Disney Junior meet and greet characters is Fancy Nancy. This clever, fashionable gal is able to meet guests at Animation Courtyard between 9:30am and 6:30pm. There is no FastPass available for this character location and it’s outside. Making it an ideal meet and greet for mornings and evenings when the heat of the day is not an issue.
