Character Meet and Greet: Toy Story Characters

The Toy Story franchise continues to be at the heartbeat of the Disney/Pixar company. Today you can meet, greet, get your pictures taken with and get your autograph book signed with Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jesse. You can also see Jessie in the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party. She has been known to pop up at the odd holiday party though. On a daily basis though these are the times and places you can meet three of Andy’s favourite toys.

Magic Kingdom

In Tomorrowland near the exit of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and the Carousel of Progress you can meet Buzz Lightyear periodically throughout the day. There is no FastPass + for this character experience, but I’ve never seen a very long line. You should be able to fit him in between a ride on the Astro Orbiter and a flight through Space. He appears from 10am-2pm and 3:10-7:30pm.

Hollywood Studios

Meet three of Andy’s toys in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. Toy Story Land is located Western part of Hollywood Studios. You’ll find Woody, Buzz and Jesse around the entrance of Toy Story Mania! They are expected to appear here throughout the whole park day from park open until park close. There’s no FastPass+ for this character experience so it’s a bit of a free for all but there will be a cast member directing traffic. 

We have seen a couple of unique Toy Story characters during runDisney events so we know they do exist. The Sergeant was stationed halfway up a hill during the Walt Disney World half marathon and Lotso was at the after party of the Tower of Terror 10 Miler. Giving you another reason to run a Disney event.
