Where You Can Meet Chip ‘n’ Dale at Disney World
These classic characters have been the instigators of plenty of mischief over the course of their career. They always appear together on screen and finding them in the parks is no different. They can be found at a couple different locations: in Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. None of these locations have fastpass reservations so you’ll have to wait in line for that picture and autograph. They can also be found at some character meals and a unique character experience at Fort Wilderness.
Magic Kingdom
Town Square
Find Chip ’n’ Dale in Town Square at the entrance to Main Street U.S.A. Normally you’ll find them at the foot of the flag pole or near the Harmony Barber Shop. Their meet and greets happen during the morning and then between 1 and 2:30pm. So either meet them at the very beginning of your day at the Magic Kingdom or before or after lunch at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.
Frontierland
Meet Chip ’n’ Dale dressed as Cowboys in Frontierland at Rivers of America crossing. This location is found across the street from the Diamond Horseshoe. They appear here at the same times as you can find them on Main Street U.S.A., 8am-12pm and then 1pm until 2:30pm. So if you find yourself in Frontierland before lunch time get a snap with these foolish chipmunks.
Hollywood Studios
Commissary Lane
Chip ’n’ Dale can be found at Hollywood Studios on Commissary Lane. They’re in the same area as the meet and greet with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. They appear here between 9am and 12:25pm and then 1:15pm and 2:30pm in the afternoon. You can find Commissary Lane in between The Great Movie Ride and Star Tours. It’s also located right across from Sci-Fi Dine-Theatre Restaurant and ABC Commissary, both great spots to grab a bite to eat although you will need an advanced reservation for Sci-Fi.
EPCOT
Garden Grill
This family/buffet style restaurant is found in The Land which is located in the Future World area of EPCOT. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner while you rotate through the Living with the Land ride. This food is very positively reviewed and is served directly to your table. You also get to meet Mickey Moues and Pluto. Book this meal ahead of time as it is one of the only two character meals found at EPCOT.
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
Garden Grove
On Sunday mornings you can find Chip ’n’ Dale wandering around the tables of this restaurant found at the EPCOT resort Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. This breakfast meal is served from 6:30am-11:30am and they do not accept the dining plan. But the cost is low, with a few continental style choices such as cold cereals and fruit. This is a very easy reservation to get, you can even try it the morning of. Just remember you’ll only see Chip ’n’ Dale here on a Sunday morning.
Fort Wilderness
Campfire Sing-A-Long
Head to Fort Wilderness to enjoy this unique character experience with Chip ’n’ Dale. Head to Chuckwagon Snack Bar, located in the rear of the amphitheatre, to purchase your roasting needs and then curl up with your family for a sing-a-long fireside with two of your favourite Disney characters. This special campfire is on every night at 8pm. So you can either get a boat from the Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness and then take the Fort Wilderness bus around their resort to the Sing-A-Long; simply ask your bus driver when you should get out. Or take a Fort Wilderness bus from any park or Disney Springs. Once you arrive at Fort Wilderness disembark and make your way to the Meadow Recreation area where you can then walk to the Sing-A-Long. Because this is an activity that requires time to get to I would recommend doing this on a non-park day and head there early and wander the resort.
Six spots to meet this two-some. And two don’t even require park admission. Happy Planning.
