Where You Can Meet Belle at Disney World
In 1991 Beauty and the Beast, the animated feature film, was released. It was a huge success. Building upon the foundation created by many princess oriented films before it. It’s huge success created a love for Belle and the Beast. Belle’s adventurous and brave spirit ran true for many girls. It didn’t take long for Belle and the Beast to begin making character appearances at the then three Disney theme parks. You can still find Belle at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Each of these meet and greets is unique, you may want to take them all in.
Magic Kingdom
Enchanted Tales with Belle
This “attraction” is found in the Magic Kingdom’s new Fantasyland. Guests can enter Maurice’s cottage and be magically transported by a magic mirror to the castle the day Belle and the Beast share their famous meal and dance. Guests are taken from Maurice’s cottage to a room where the wardrobe is waiting. Guests are prepared to reenact Belle’s exciting tale up until this moment of her and the beast’s tale. Littles and adults are given roles to be a part of this reenactment. Once a little practice has happened, the group is ushered into Belle’s library in the Beast’s castle where Lumiere is the host. Belle then appears through the double doors. She is adorned in her yellow ballgown. Belle participates in this production, and dances around the room with the young thespians. Before departing to her waiting Beast she takes a picture with each of the littles and the two adults selected to participate. Belle does not sign autographs at this location. She gives each visitor a bookmark with her signature on it. This is an attraction for the whole family. It’s a beautiful way to interact with Belle, creating beautiful memories. It’s perfect for those little performers in your party. Enchanted Tales with Belle runs throughout the day during park hours.
Epcot
France Pavilion
Belle, and periodically the Beast, meet and greet guests at the France Pavilion. This meet and greet begins as soon as World Showcase opens for the day, which is 11am. Her last appearance is scheduled from 4:50pm-5:30pm. At this meet and greet location Belle is dressed in her blue dress and white apron. Making it a great photo opportunity if your little has that Belle costume. Below are the times you can expect to find Belle at this character spot. I would suggest getting to this location at one of the first two times. World Showcase gets busiest in the afternoon and evening. Also France is not the first pavilion so many people won’t reach this location until later in their World Showcase visit.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
This buffet style, all-you-care-to enjoy table service restaurant is located in Norway. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a character meal that hosts 5 different princesses, one of which is Belle. Belle is the featured princess at this meal. Guests will meet her upon arriving at this restaurant before being seated for their meal. Similar to Cinderella’s Royal Table. Belle is dressed in her yellow gown. Here, Belle will pose for a picture and sign your autograph book. This location is extremely popular, so try to get a reservation 180 days prior. If you don’t get the meal time you’re hoping for, or don’t get a reservation at all, check your My Disney Experience app during your Disney vacation for last minute reservations.
Three locations, at two parks. All of these meet and greets require park admission. Each of these character experiences are unique. If you want to meet Belle in her ballgown, be sure to meet her at the Enchanted Tales with Belle or the Akershush Royal Banquet Hall. Want to get a picture with Belle in her blue dress, head to the France Pavilion. Bring your princess’ costume along with you for some beautiful pictures.
