Character Dining
One of my favourite dining experiences at Walt Disney World is Character Dining. Generally speaking the food is awesome, with a wide variety for everyone in your party, and you can meet the characters without waiting in line. You can also enjoy these meals without being at a park. The following resorts host Character dining at the named restaurant:
-Contemporary Resort: Chef Mickey’s
-Polynesian: O’Hana (Breakfast Only)
–Grand Floridian: 1900 Park Fare
–Beach Club: Cape May Cafe (Breakfast Only)
–Boardwalk Inn & Villas: Tratorria el Forno (Breakfast Only)
This is also a great use of your dining plan. All of these meals, with the exception of Cinderella’s Royal Table are 1 table service meal credit. These meals are expensive if you are not on the dining plan but what you are giving in dollars you are gaining in time and relaxation. There are so many characters to see around the parks, take advantage of these meals to get the big ones out of the way. Be efficient. You need to eat; you want to see characters. Do it all at once. Below are a list of character dining experiences by park. Don’t forget to bring your autograph book.
