Why You Shouldn’t Record Videos on your Disney World Vacation
Best Trip Tips: Don’t Record
My first few trips to Walt Disney World involved my dear old Dad carrying around the family camcorder, capturing moments of our Disney vacation. From meeting Winnie the Pooh to dining at Tony’s Restaurant and of course there is the recording of Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage. Now with our recording devices conveniently at our fingertips, it’s so much easier to capture every moment of your trip. This doesn’t mean you have to.
The stage shows and parades are extremely impressive and you can find yourself wanting to record pieces so you can remember them later. But friends, this has already been done for you by many different people and these videos are all on youtube. Also, stage shows and parades have been streamed by Disney Parks blog and are also found on youtube. Many of these are professionally filmed and edited. Making your home video seem just that.
So don’t waste space on your phone or recording device on something that’s already been well done. Fill it up with your family and your perspective. You can’t find that moment online of your child’s face when they see Mickey Mouse for the first time, or when they see Elsa perform Let It Go. So turn the camera’s focus to you and your vacation. Happy Planning Friends.
