5 Reasons We’re Staying at Disney World’s Beach Club Resort
We are heading to Disney World in a mere 25 days. We are so excited after so much time away from our favourite place on earth. We are fortunate enough to be DVC members, so we frequent Walt Disney World on the regular. Due to the pandemic we haven’t been back in a while. We have cancelled two vacations thus far and can hardly believe we are finally headed back to Walt Disney World World. On this particular vacation we are staying at Disney’s Beach Club resort. Disney’s Beach Club Resort is found on Crescent Lake, across from Disney’s Boardwalk Inn & Villas and is in the Epcot Resort area. Now, with all the Disney World resorts to choose from, why did we choose Disney’s Beach Club resort. I’ll give you five reasons:
- Location

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is within walking distance of 2 of the 4 theme parks. You can walk to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot. This cuts down on so much time, gives us more sleep in time and just places us more in the Disney magic. Disney’s Beach Club is West of the World Showcase entrance to Disney’s Epcot. This means we’ll be able to walk to the brand new Ratatouille ride and hopefully beat the traffic.
2. We’ve Never Stayed There Before

As a family, and as a couple, we’ve never stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. We’ve stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian, Bay Lake Tower, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge. As you can see we love exploring resorts we’ve never stayed at before. Each resort is so unique and has different things to offer, so we want to eventually enjoy all the DVC resorts. I have stayed at Disney’s Beach Club many times. It was the resort we always stayed at growing up but this will be a first for our family.
3. Availability

As DVC members we book where is available. The smaller DVC resorts fill up very quickly. Typically, the Beach Club is filled up by home resort owners, so by the time we can book it’s full. Because we’re visiting at such a quiet time of year there was actually availability.
4. Stormalong Bay

The feature pool of the Beach Club Resort is Stormalong Bay. This incredible pool, shared with the sister resort Yacht Club, has several areas making up the space. There’s quick-sand, a lazy river, a massive slide, a sandy beach area, waterfalls. The pool is a cut above all other pools on Walt Disney World property. We are going to be taking advantage of Stormalong Bay by having several pool days during our Disney World vacation.
5. I Love It!

Having grown up staying here, I have a deep love for this resort. I love the style, I love the layout, I love the gift shop. The restaurants found at the Beach Club (Beaches and Cream and Cape May Cafe) bring back such incredible memories from my early life. The nooks and crannies found in this resort are unique to this space, with lots of beautiful windows and bright colours. The fact that I can finally share this stunning resort with my family and create memories with my small people is the biggest reason to stay at the Beach Club Resort.
