44 inch Height Requirement at Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is home to incredible animal experiences, broadway-caliber stage shows and delicious dining. At Animal Kingdom you’ll also have the chance to ride some pretty fantastic rides. Not all rides are open to everyone though. Certain rides have height restrictions for the safety of the rider. Check out these previous posts for the rides are that are suitable for guests 32 inches and smaller, 38 inches and taller, and 40 inches and taller at the Animal Kingdom. Today’s post is all about those 44 inches and taller. And these guests can ride the thrilling Expedition Everest.

Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain

This attraction is for thrill seekers, it’s a roller coaster ride with lots of climbs and descents. Many at top speed. The first time I rode the ride we went so fast backwards I thought we were going upside down. This ride is unique because it has a single rider line. Which means you can get on and off the ride quickly without needing to use a FastPass. Perfect if you’re hoping to get on one of the newer attractions in Pandora. To ride Expedition Everest guests must be 44 inches but that doesn’t mean they’re old enough to ride it. There’s a couple of appearances by the Yeti himself that scares even the bravest of souls. It’s a fantastic ride that should be ridden by everyone at some point in time. Be sure to check out your picture on your way out.
