Disney’s Riviera Resort

The newest resort at Walt Disney World is Disney’s Riviera Resort. It’s a Disney Vacation Club resort found in the Epcot resort. The resort offers four dining experiences: Bar Riva, Le Petit Cafe, Primo Piatto and Topolino’s Terrace. Topolino’s Terrace will be a signature restaurant located on the top floor of the resort offering beautiful views of both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. For breakfast, guests will be treated to a character meal featuring Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. For dinner, the meals will be French and Italian inspired. Primo Piatto is the resort’s quick-service restaurant. Le Petit Cafe will have pastries and coffees in the morning and then cocktails and small dishes in the evening. The Bar Riva is the resort’s lounge and it’s found pool side. Offering some food for those not wanting to leave their staked out pool chairs. Bar Riva will serve frozen cocktails and spritzers. All of these restaurants have just opened or will be opening in the new year.

Every season seems to bring a new restaurant to the ever changing Disney Springs and this year is no different. Beatrix Restaurant will be located in the West Side, across from AMC theatres. This restaurant is boasting in its healthy selections. The design will be inspired by Palm Springs in the 50’s and 60’s. Beatrix will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. There’s no opening date yet so stay tuned.

City Works Eatery and Pour House

I believe this Disney Springs restaurant is behind schedule. I had it on my list of new restaurants for the Fall of 2019 but has yet to open its doors. The cuisine is going to be classic American and the design is sports driven with Big Screen TVs adorning the walls. There will be plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and will have 90 beers on tap. Making it a perfect choice for big groups. They’re not taking reservations yet, which hints that the opening date is unclear.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Galaxy’s Edge has been opened since the Fall of 2019 and we’re now seeing all of the pieces of the land fully opened. This includes 5 dining experiences. Each is offering food and drinks that are inspired by the world of Star Wars. Placing adventures into the Star Wars universe. Oga’s Cantina is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving drinks both alcoholic and non. Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is the area’s quick-service restaurant. The menu is limited but looks delicious. Pot roast and pork ribs are listed, along with a shrimp salad and chicken salad. Ronto Roasters is a food cart offering drinks and eats. Kat Saka’s Kettle serves popcorn, perfect for grabbing to much on while you explore Galaxy’s Edge. Lastly, The Milk Stand. Always wondered what the blue drink Luke sips on in A New Hope would taste like. Wonder no more. Have your own Blue Milk or try the Green Milk. They both come as alcoholic and non-alcoholic so every member of your family can enjoy them. With so many places to try, you’ll have to head to Hollywood Studios more than once on your vacation.

Enchanted Rose

Come and discover this newly renovated Grand Floridian Lounge. From its name, you may have guessed that the lounge is inspired by the live action Beauty and the Beast film. Found on the second floor of the Grand Floridian, dine and drink in one of four spaces. No reservations are required for the Enchanted Rose.

Epcot Forever Dining Package

Get incredible seats for the Epcot Nighttime spectacular by purchasing this dining package. For $89 per adult and $39 per child, enjoy a meal at Rose & Crown Dining Room and then the view from their perfectly situated patio. With this package your meal at Rose & Crown will be a prix-fixed menu and will include an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. If your eating at a table service or buffet meal for dinner then the price cost will be similar. This way you enjoy your meal and then you don’t have to worry about finding a good vantage point for the fireworks show.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

The Great American Adventure, the American pavilion at World Showcase is going to be home to a new quick-service restaurant. This restaurant has a large indoor seating area and will serve a variety of bbq selections. Many of the meats will be roasted all day to give each dish terrific flavour. This will come as a welcome change to the pavilions dining.

Rivers of Light Dining Package

Purchase this dining package and score premium seats for the Animal Kingdom nighttime spectacular. This package is offered for meals at Tusker House and at Tiffins restaurant. The cost varies which makes sense because Tusker House is a character dining experience and Tiffins is a Signature restaurant. The cost for Tusker House’s package is $60 ($46 for breakfast) per adult and $36 ($28 for breakfast) per child. Tiffins is $68 per adult and $26 per child.

Space 2020

This restaurant is obviously space themed and is supposed to coincide with Mission: SPACE. Diners will feel as though they are dining in space. What that will mean for food offerings we don’t quite know yet. There’s still no reservations available which means it shouldn’t be opening in the next few months.

With all the changes coming to Epcot, I would expect to hear of more dining offerings opening up. Also with the new Magic Kingdom resort under construction there’s sure to be a handful of restaurants there. Only time will tell. Happy Planning, Friends.
