FastPass + Stage Shows

FastPass + is a feature that can be used by anyone visiting Disney parks. You don’t have to be a DVC member, an Annual Passholder or staying at a Disney resort. Anyone who purchases a Disney park pass can make use of the FastPass+ service. Each guest can pick 3 FastPass+ per day of their visit. 1 1st tier and 2 2nd tier. For details on this, check out this previous post. FastPass+ don’t have to be used on attractions. You can actually use FastPass+ on character experiences, stage shows, nighttime entertainment and the Festival of Fantasy Parade. So take a look a which Stage Shows you can book FastPass+ for:

Hollywood Studios

For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-A-Long Celebration. Echo Lake.

Beauty and the Beast: Live On Stage. Sunset Blvd.

Disney Junior Dance Party. Animation Courtyard.

Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Animation Courtyard.

Animal Kingdom

Festival of Lion King. Africa.

Finding Nemo. DinoLand U.S.A.

Up! A Great Bird Adventure. Asia.

By using a FastPass+ for a stage show you are guaranteeing you’ll be seated at the show you’ve selected. Instead of putting this stage show on your itinerary and planning on seeing this show at the expected time, it’s written in stone. These shows can fill up and if you want to see a show at a certain time you may not be able to due to the size of the crowd. We saw this happen at Finding Nemo once. Guests were lined up to enter the show and were denied admittance despite having waited for 15 minutes because the auditorium was full. We had FastPasses, so we were able to walk right in. It is recommended that you arrive at these shows 15 minutes before the performance begins. Which is still much better than waiting for 15 minutes thirty minutes before the performance only to be turned away. These stage shows are also great for the whole family. There’s no height requirement so you know every member of your party can be a part of it. For more posts on FastPass+ take a look at these previous posts:
