FastPasses are a fantastic benefit for anyone visiting Walt Disney World. Any guest can use this service. It allows you to bypass the main line and go into a shorter line which will get you on attractions faster. It gives you premium seating at nighttime entertainment, parades and stage shows. You can get shorter lines for certain character meet and greets. There are so many FastPass choices at each park, it can be hard to narrow down which ones are the best choices for you and your family. Today’s post is going to focus on the best choices for FastPasses if you’re heading to Hollywood Studios with babies or toddlers.
Whenever we’ve travelled with babies and toddlers in the past we choose two of our FastPasses that we can all use and one that’s for the adults. FastPasses that can be shared by the whole family are going to be stage shows, character experiences and attractions for guests 32 inches and smaller. At Hollywood Studios there are 15 attractions suitable for this height, 2 of which have FastPasses. The other option to choose from are the stage shows, 5 of which have FastPasses available. The nighttime entertainment, Fantasmic, is another stellar choice. So with your selection brought down to two FastPasses for you and your small ones which should you choose. Here are my suggestions:
Choose a stage show.
Currently there’s a Frozen stage show (For the First Time in Forever), Beauty and the Beast stage show, Little Mermaid Stage Show, Indiana Jones Stage Show, Disney Junior stage show. If any of these interest you and yours, I would choose it as a FastPass. By choosing a stage show as a FastPass you can be assured that the showtime you choose you’ll get into. You may want to see Beauty and the Beast Live On Stage during the 2pm showing but if it’s full, you’ll have to return at a later time. Bummer. If one of your littles is a big fan of any of these specific stories than they’ll love seeing the story come to life.
Toy Story Mania!
Toy Story Mania is still one of the most popular rides and it can be enjoyed by the whole family. Toy Story Mania is found in the Toy Story Land area of Hollywood Studios, surronded by Andy’s toys. It’s the only attraction in the whole park that is truly a ride that everyone can go on. It’s a 3D immersive video game, so your little won’t necessarily be able to participate but they can still come along for the ride.
These are my two suggestions. The other FastPass I would choose for yourself. Choose an attraction that you want to go on, and that way you won’t spend precious family time waiting by yourself on a ride you’re going to go on on your own. Been there friends, it’s not fun. So grab a FastPass for Rock n Roller Coaster or Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and then take advantage of rider switch pass.
