Mobile Ordering is a convenient way to order food ahead of time during your Disney World vacation. It allows you to skip the lines and to take time ordering the food you want to eat. This feature is being strongly recommended with restrictions currently in place due to the pandemic. You simply use the MyDisneyExperience app to look at the menu of the restaurant you want to order from. Pick the items you want and click order. When you arrive at the restaurant, you go to a specified window that will have your order ready for pick up.
Here are the restaurants that currently offer Mobile Ordering at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park:
Flame Tree Barbecue. Discovery Island.
This quick-service restaurant is found on the eastern side of Discovery Island, the centre of the park. With ample outdoor seating, this restaurant has southern bbq fare. Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Rib Dinners, and Mac & Cheese is on the menu. The menu is not bountiful but what is offered is delicious. Not your best choice for a healthy meal though.
Restaurantosaurus. DinoLand U.S.A.
Our favourite option for kids, Restaurantosaurus serves their kids meals in a pail along with a shovel. Which is perfect for taking over to the Boneyard after your meal. Here you’ll find your fast food favourites: cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets and fries. For those looking for a more healthy option there is a cobb salad.
Satu’li Canteen. Pandora.
The best quick-service restaurant at Animal Kingdom is Satu’li Canteen. Found in Pandora, Satu’li Canteen is located closed to the exit of Flights of Passage. The canteen has food that is out of this world, rice bowls with your choice of meat or have their cheeseburger steamed pods. The entrees have plentiful veggies and sides to give you a filling meal without feeling gross. And don’t forget to add one of the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousses for your dessert. Harambe Market. Africa. *Currently Closed*
Head to this market where there are 4 unique walk up windows, all giving you healthy options. Have the chicken bowl or the ribs bowl, or try one of the gyros (meat served on an open faced naan bread with veggies). These meals aren’t really the grab and go kind. They are meals to sit and be enjoyed while taking a break from your busy park day.
Pizzafari. Discovery Island. *Currently Closed*
Choose from four different kinds of pizza at this quick-service restaurant. Here you’re not really getting your bang for your buck. You’ll get a flat bread pizza and that is all. You can add some sides but your meal doesn’t come with one. There are some pastas on the kids menu but none for the adults. Perfect for the pizza loving family but a skip for everyone else.
Five options at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom for mobile ordering. Giving you a place to eat lunch and dinner while using mobile ordering. Use the app while you are heading towards the restaurant or while waiting in line at an attraction. When you go to pick up your food and pass by countless of other guests you’ll be thankful you opted to use mobile ordering.
