The hundreds of attractions found at Walt Disney World are not for every guest of every height. Guests of certain heights can only ride certain rides. It’s very important to measure your kids before you are planning your FastPass choices to make sure you are picking attractions that they can actually ride. If your travellers are 32 inches there are quite a few attractions that are tailored just for them and for the whole family. At Hollywood Studios there is one ride that requires guests be at least 32 inches.
Alien Swirling Saucers. Toy Story Land.
At Toy Story Land, guests are made to feel the size of toys. The land is filled with life size blocks, and game pieces. There are three attractions found in Toy Story Land and Alien Swirling Saucers is one of them. In this attraction, guests will sit in a spaceship like cart that swings back and forth. Sometimes it swings slightly, other times is swings very quickly. As the ride progresses the quicker it goes. The ride is ideal for preschoolers and elementary school aged kids. Our 7 and 5 year old loved this ride, unfortunately our youngest wasn’t able to ride because he was not tall enough. Alien Swirling Saucers made our list of rides that our kids loved and we did not. For more on that click here. You can get FastPasses for this attraction but I would suggest using your FastPass for one of the other Toy Story Land rides: Toy Story Mania! or Slinky Dog Dash. Toy Story Land is one of the first areas of the park to open so if you don’t have a FastPass you can get on the ride with minimal wait first thing or in the evening when most families are calling it a day. If you have kids 8 and under then I highly recommend getting on this ride.
If you have guests who are 32″ and taller they can also ride the attractions at Hollywood Studios that have no height requirement. For a full list of those click here. They can also enjoy all the stage shows, for a list of those click here.
